How long does it take for my hot tub to reach the desired temperature?
On average, a Lay-Z-Spa heats at a rate of 1.5°C to 2°C per hour. Depending on the ambient air temperature and the starting water temperature, it typically takes between 12 and 24 hours to reach a comfortable 40°C.
What are your delivery options and timeframes within the UK?
We offer standard UK delivery which typically takes 3-5 working days. Next-day delivery options are available for orders placed before 1pm Monday through Thursday. Large items like hot tubs are shipped via a specialist two-man courier service.
Can I use my Lay-Z-Spa during the winter months?
Yes, our latest models feature Freeze Shield™ technology, which automatically prevents water from freezing in the pump and pipes when the outside temperature drops, allowing you to enjoy your spa year-round.
What is your return policy for accessories and chemicals?
We offer a 30-day return policy for all unopened and unused accessories and chemicals. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on water treatment products if the seal has been broken.
How often should I change the filter cartridges?
For optimal performance and water clarity, we recommend rinsing your filter cartridges daily and replacing them every 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the frequency of use and bather load.
Do you offer financing or split payment options?
Yes, we partner with leading providers like Klarna and PayPal Credit to offer flexible payment plans, allowing you to spread the cost of your new hot tub over several months.
